CPP Delegates Conference: Juantuah Send Kabila On Retirement

The acting General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, a.k.a Kabila, has lost the bid to become the substantive General Secretary of the party.
He was beaten by former Public Utility Regulatory Commission Public Affairs Director, Nana Yaa Akyimpim Jantuah, who polled 1,389 votes as against 752 votes for. There was referendum as to vote both presidential flag bearership or not and out of the 2034 vote cast, 1852 voted YES.

In a close interview with Opare Addo, he disclosed to Kings TV Greater Accra Regional correspondent, Kwabena Gyamfi that he will be doing a massive work to bring the party to power as young and energetic.

Moses Yirembo who also won as the National organizer also said he will be going to the grassroots to draw the party’s welfare with them.
” Being in the office cannot bring the party to power henceforth I will be going to the grassroots to sit down with them and draws the party welfare which will help us win the 2020 general elections” he said.
