On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency Youth Organizers and their Deputies from the Eastern Region paid a courtesy visit to their newly elected Regional Youth Organizer, Samuel Osei Sarkodie, widely known as SOS. The gathering took place at his private residence in Asokore Kumaa, within the New Juaben North Municipality.
The historic visit served to officially congratulate SOS and present him with a citation celebrating his resounding victory in the recent regional executives’ election held in Asamankese on August 15, 2026. The election saw SOS secure 350 votes, confirming his leadership mandate through 2030.
Addressing the gathering, SOS expressed his profound gratitude to everyone who traveled from near and far to show their support.
He pledged to utilize his available resources to strengthen and empower the NPP youth wings moving forward.
He indicated that elections are held within constituencies; however, the youth wings of every political party play a crucial role in helping their parties to secure political power and form a government.
For this reason, he stated that because the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised to win Ghana’s next general election, he will use his available resources to assist all regional youth organizers. This support aims to strengthen their efforts and enable them to win power for the party in 2028.
“SOS” also used the opportunity to urge them to respect the women organizers in their respective constituencies, viewing them as mothers.
He emphasized that treating them with the respect they deserve will allow them to work together effectively, making the NPP attractive to Ghanaian voters once again for the 2028 elections.
The Dean of the Eastern Regional NPP Youth Wings, Frederick Ofosu Boateng, expressed his gratitude to SOS for placing his trust in him and promoting him to the role of Dean. In this new position, he will assist with the daily operations of the party within the region.
“I will contribute my quota to support you in succeeding in your tenure as regional Youth Organizer and help bring the party to power in 2028,” he assured SOS.
Regina Bempong, the NPP Regional Women Organizer, also praised SOS for establishing measures to support constituency Youth Organizers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to deliver results for the party.
She encouraged them to actively connect with voters in their respective constituencies, particularly young women.
Her goal is to win their support and secure their votes for the NPP in the 2028 election, noting that all signs indicate the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration has completely failed the Ghanaian people.
