Elections 2020: Abuakwa South MP Files Nomination Forms

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region and also Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea has filed his nomination forms at Kyebi Municipal Electoral Commission’s office to contest the December 7, 2020 polls.

The filing of the forms were being done by the constituency executives on behalf of him and it was led by the party’s Chairman, Mr. Yaw Boakye.

Kingdom News in an interview with Chairman Yaw Boakye stressed, the vision of Hon. Atta Kyea is that, the constituents will vote massively to glorify Prez Akufo-Addo as native of Akyem Abuakwa.

He said, Akyem Abuakwa can get more developmental projects if the constituent, heavily votes Nana Addo.
“Because this is the first time in Ghana’s history, someone from Akyem Abuakwa has won the presidential seat.

Chairman Yaw Boakye adds, now that they have grabbed the presidential seat for the first time, the good of Akyem Abuakwa should rally behind Prez Akufo-Addo to ensure he goes for his second term to bring more developmental projects to the constituency and Ghana as a whole.

He was speaking in an interview with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH after successfully filed the forms on behalf of his MP, Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea.

He continue that, under the regime of their MP, the Abuakwa South Constituency have witnessed so many developmental projects of which he can’t mention them one after the other.

“The Free SHS education has reduced burdens from our MP. Aside that he still cater for some vulnerable students who are furthering their education at the tertiary level both home and abroad” he revealed.

Chairman Boakye further stated, this year’s new voter registration exercise, they registered over 51,000 eligible voters and they expected not less than 49,000 out of them to come out in their numbers to vote massively for Prez Akufo-Addo and Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea to continue their good works for mother Ghana.

He therefore made a humble appeal to indigenes of Abuakwa South who have travelled outside the constituency to come home and vote when the elections period is due.
