Elections 2020: Rev. S. A. Debrah Launches National Peaceful Campaign

The leading member of the opposition People’s Convention (PNC) who doubles as the Evangelist and Missionary, Rev. Samuel Adjei Debrah has launched a peaceful campaign in Koforidua ahead of the December 7, polls.

Rev. Samuel Adjei Debrah

Addressing the press, he said, Ghana as a country has come very far and we the citizens must do well not to engage in any activity that will disturb the peace and stability we have enjoyed since the Fourth Republic.

” It has been observed that some politicians mount platforms with insults and character assassination, and sometimes engage in tribal politics which must not be encouraged” he continue.

Rev. Adjei Debrah adds, politicians must see themselves as one people belonging to one country, with a common objective to improve the lives of the citizens.

“It is imperative , therefore, for political leaders to be mindful of statements they make on political platforms in order to maintain our enviable peace” he advice.

In view of this, I wish to embark on a National Campaign to call on all the political leaders, religious leaders, chiefs, opinion leaders and the general public to commit to and promote peaceful general elections, support and also add their voices to the peace campaign.

Rev. Samuel Adjei Debrah made a humble appeal to interested parties to kindly contribute spiritually , financially and physically to support this move.
