Mother’s Day Celebration: Children Urged To Stop Maltreating Their Mothers

Mrs. Lizbeth Anane, National women’s leader of Leaders Light Int’l Church

The National Women’s Leader of Leaders Light Int’l Church, Mrs. Lizbeth Anane has admonised Ghanian children who normally maltreated their mothers to put a stop to it as soon as possible as we celebrate them today.

This she said, its very disturbing to see children of today accusing their mothers wrongly about things they know nothing about, and later begins beating or doing painful things to them because of hearsays about their parents.

According to Mrs. Anane, mothers are very scarce, and not everyone has one, hence the need to treat every mother with care and love is necessary than maltreating them.

“Again is not every mother who conceived and carried her baby in her stomach for 9 months. So if your mother has been able to carried you in her stomach for 9 months and given birth to you, you don’t have to treat her bad” she added.

Mrs. Lizbeth Anane then explained that; a good mother is someone who gives birth to her children by way of helping them reach certain level in life as well as raising them with the word of God.

She told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview during the mother’s day anniversary celebration church service at Koforidua.

However, district secretary for the Koforidua branch of Leaders Light International Church, Mrs. Alberta Ayeh-Kwapong used the opportunity to advised the youth to take good care of themselves, and also listen to their mother’s teachings, because that’s the only way to help them achieve their aims and aspirations in life.

She also charged them to humble themselves and respect their mothers.

Mrs. Ayeh-Kwapong tasked the youth to let the truth leads them in everything they do to bring glory to themselves and their mothers as well.
