
Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong has expressed worry over the 3rd wave of Covid-19 in the country.
With regards to this, the Minister urged the Muslims communities in the country especially, eastern region to celebrate the Eid-Ul-Adha festival in moderation to curb the spread of the virus.
“After we are done with the Eid-UL-Adha prayers we will all go to our various homes to have fun. But we should also remember that the Covid is still exist” he advises.

Hon. Seth Acheampong added that, the most worsen aspect of the covid had been how it changes in character day-in and day-out thus the best way to protect ourselves from the deadly pandemic is to observe the safety protocols.
He made these known to the press at Koforidua Central Mosque during the prayers to mark this year’s Eid-UL-Adha festival led by the regional chief Imam, Yusif Suleman Amudani.
The Eastern Regional Chief Imam, Yusif Suleman Amudani prayed for Prez Akufo-Addo and his Ministers and asked God to protect and keep them.

He thus noted that, as today marks the Eid-UL-Adha celebration day, May Allah accept their prayer requests and grant them all their heart desires.
Last but not the least, the MCE for New Juaben South Municipality, Hon. Isaac Apaw Gyasi wished for Allah’s blessings unto all Muslims.

However, he admonised all and sundry to live in harmony as brothers and sisters in loving each other, grow together, and work hard for the development of Ghana.
