
Member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi East Constituency in the Western Region, Hon. Nicholas Amankwah a.k.a Home Boy has charged the Muslims in his constituency to remember Amenfi East in their prayers as they finally climax the annual month-long Ramadan festival.
Hon. Nicholas Amankwah made these known to New Day FM’s Kaakyire Kwasi Afari in an interview when he presented 5 cows to the Muslims community in his constituency on Thursday, July 22,2021. He pleads with them to use the blessings received from the Eid-ul-Adha to continue to pray for prosperity, unity, togetherness and peace for Amenfi East and Ghana at large.
According to him, he did that donation because , Christians and Muslims are one people and we all live in harmony.
The MP urged them to emulate and sacrifice what they have, not only to the glory of Allah, but to support Allah’s work at all levels.
The lawmaker also called for peace, tranquility, which he described as a tool for nation building, and urged all and sun dry to ensure violence free that the people of Amenfi East would be proud of…
Hon. Amankwah adds, there is the need for Muslims to be steadfast, fear Allah and obey His commandments and love one another.
Hon. MP stressed that, a lot of developmental projects are underway to improved the standard of living of his constituents including those living in Zongo communities.
