“You And Your NPP Doesn’t Think About The Well-being Of Ghanaians”—-Mr. B. Asamoah Told

Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko,E/R Deputy Youth Organiser -NDC

The Eastern Regional Deputy Youth Organiser on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko has told the director of communication of the ruling New Patriotic Part (NPP), Mr. Buaben Asamoah that, he and his party doesn’t think about the well-being of the ordinary Ghanaian who voted them into power.

According to him, there’s too much suffering in the country due to hardship Ghanains are facing, a situation he said, it clearly indicates there is big gap between NPP and Ghanains at large.

This, Mr. Nyarko stated that, had they [NPP] think of the well-being of voters, he Bauben Asamoah wouldn’t have made a statement saying “there is no hardship in the country”.

“Mr. Buaben Asamoah claims there is No Hardship in Ghana yet still not long a ago civil servants embarked on demonstration, UTAG are demanding for condition of services, and many Ghanaians are also complaining about the increment of commodities, and you’re telling us all is well with us?” he asked.

Mr. Etornam Nyarko then recalled an incident that occurred at Akwatia in the Eastern Region, where
a young man stoled uncooked banku on fire an act he described as ‘insane’ since no normal being would involve in such theft unless someone who is severely suffering from hunger and hardship under Nana-Bawumia regime.

He made these known to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview during NDC’s Tertiary Education Institution Network Summit (TEIN) for their Patrons in the region.

Moreover, he hinted that if today members of NPP have access to cheap money as well as living a good life to the extent of telling Ghanaians there is no hardship then we all live to see.

Explaining the purpose of the programme to Kingdom News, Mr. Richard Nyarko said, the TEIN PATRONS from all the 16 Tertiary Institutions in the region plays a key role in the party, hence the need to meet and have dialogue on how to win power come 2024 elections is key.

Amidst the party’s aim of winning power in the 2024 general elections, Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko categorically stated that they will eagerly chase for every single vote.

As part of the exercise, some personnels who has contributed immensely to the development of the party in their various tertiary institutions were awarded.
