Mr. Oboafo Kwadjo Asante, the Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region has officially handover 36 brand new vehicles to some selected drivers in Suhum.
This, according to him, drivers are very important persons to him and hence his step motivate and empower them.
He also clarifies that, the vehicles given the drivers are not on free basis but a work and pay.
The MP on that note, advised the drivers to make good use of the vehicles for it right purposes.
Some beneficial drivers extended their heartfelt gratitude to the MP for the vehicles presented to them and elugise becoming car owners sooner when settled the monies meant to pay.
The Eastern Regional MTTD Commander, Chief Supt Stephen Kofi Ahiatafu in an interview with KINGDOM FM/TV KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH, urged drivers to abstain from indiscipline and reckless driving on the various roads to help reduce record cases of accident n the country.
Meanwhile, prior to the handing over, Kay And Moby Company Ltd collaborated with DVLA, Road Safety and MTTD organized ‘Safe Driver Come Alive’ sensitisation workshop for the drivers.
