On Monday, June 27,2022, the New Juaben Traditional Council sworn in the Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III to succeeded late Prof. Emeritus Daasebre Oti Boateng.
Following this, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III held a dabur with the Chiefs, elders and people of New Juaben including Asante Juaben Omanhene, Daasebre Otuo Serebour II to mark his first ever Akwasidae celebration at the forecourt of Yiadom and Hwedie Palace in Koforidua on Sunday, July 10, 2022,
Kingdom News speaking with the Kontihen of New Juaben Traditional Council, Baffour Nyantakyi Tutu Boateng said, Nananom have already accepted him and thus ready to serve him to DEVELOPED Juabenman.
Baffour Nyantakyi Boateng adds, when he [Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III] was elected as New Juaben Omanhene over 99% of Nanaanom welcomed him which indicate how humble and unifier he is. He stated that he’s of the believe that Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III will bring peace, oneness, and love amongst the people of New Juaben.
He told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH and stressed that New Juaben needs a lot therefore giving the right time they [Chiefs] will sit down with him to bring notions together to see how they can get on board developmental projects for Juabenman.
The Omanhene of New New Juaben Traditional Council, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III showed his profound gratitude to all and sundry who made to his maiden edition of Akwasidea celebration as he ascended on the throne.
He also thanked Juabenman for their massive support on last week Saturday, July 9, 2022 when they collaborated with New Juaben South Municipality to clean the principal streets of Koforidua.
Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III stated, there’s only one thing that can help towns to be developed and that’s togetherness and love.
With, this, he entreated his people to come together as one people and love each other. And he believe this is the only way Koforidua and its surrounding communities can be developed.
