Lawyer George Opare Addo, the National Youth Organiser – NDC.

The National Youth Organiser of NDC, Lawyer George Opare Addo has sworn in 20 member NDC Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) executives into office to champion the good works of the party to secure power in the 2024 general elections.

Out of the 20 member TEIN executives, 10 each from the Presbyterian University College (PUC) and Presbyterian College of Education (PCE) all in Akropong in the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region.

Speaking to Kingdom News, Mr. Opare Addo said, NDC cherish TEIN members hence the decision to factor them in all their programmes. Stating, they expected to built on the gains of their predecessors and make it better than it is to win 2024 elections together.

Commenting on the injunction placed on the NPP’s TESCON executives that restricted them from taken part in their Annual Delegates Conference elections which was held in Accra on Saturday, July 16, 2024.

“NPP doesn’t appreciate the effort of TESCON, if they do, I am not sure they would have been treated subtly. I can’t understand an intellectual wing that’s suppose to be doing researching, gathering data and leading the discussions will be treated as such shambolic manner and is very unfortunate,” he stated.

Furthermore, the president of the Tertiary Education Institution Network of Presbyterian College of College, Tegah Benedict Eyram said, though they are facing a lot of challenges on campuses, no amount of intimidation can stop them from working hard for NDC to come to power 2024.

He claimed the NPP’s TESCON is no more vibrant on campuses anymore therefore they are going to make sure TEIN stand tall to mobilize the youth to vote NDC and John Mahama in 2024.

Last but not the least, the Eastern Regional Women’s Organiser for NDC who grace the occasion, Mrs. Shirley Naana Osei Ampem also indicated, the youth have seen the good works NDC have done for the decade so if they have accepted to work with them they are all welcome.

She added that, NPP haven’t done anything for the youth but only thinking of breaking the 8yrs jinx which won’t work out for them.

Mrs. Shirley Naana Osei Ampem adds, the economic hardship in Ghana is too much. She then entreated Ghanaians to exercise restraint because former president Mahama is coming 2024 to rescue them from this crisis.
