An aspiring Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for Fanteakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Agyekum Dampare has confidently stated should delegates elect him as the chairman for the constituency, he would ensure his party wins the Fanteakwa South parliamentary seat.
According to him, the people of Fanteakwa South Constituency including the NPP members are calling on the NDC to change the leadership of the constituency therefore must vote for them to claim the parliamentary seat from the NPP.
Agyekum Dampare continues to say, Fanteakwa South Constituency does not have a single tarred road to show off and this has been a major challenge to the citizenry especially drivers who ply the road.
“During the formal president John Mahama’s era most of the roads in Fanteakwa South were awarded to contract but unfortunately we lost 2016 to NPP and they didn’t continue the project,” he said.
Agyekum Dampare told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH when filling his nomination form at the NDC office in Osino to contest the party’s upcoming constituency executive’s chairmanship race.

He added that all hope is not lost because when NDC comes to power in 2025 all deplorable roads would be get fixed.
Furthermore, Shaddrick Ofosu Ware, the NDC’s incumbent youth organiser for the constituency who is seeking reelection said, he will continue to serve and sacrifice himself for the party to win power come 2024 elections.
“We use numbers to win elections, so therefore if the delegates voted me again I would mobilize more youth to vote NDC party to win power in the upcoming 2024 elections,” he noted.
