Asante Juabenhene’s Son Grabbed Overall Best National Farmer

The Chief Executive Officer for Siriboe Farms Limited, Nana Yaw Sarpong Siriboe, the son of Asante Juabenhene who doubles as the Chairman for Council of State, Daasbre Otuo Serebour has been ajudged the overall National best Farmer for the year 2022.

The 43yr old Nana Sarpong Siriboe married with 4 children was rewarded with an amount of GHS1M.

He has 145 workers which comprises of 20 employees and 125 casual workers. All his farms are in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region.

He has 900 acres of oil palm, 63 acres of citrus, 65 acres of Cocoa, 37 acres of Cassava, 17 acres of mango, 30 acres of Cashew, and 240 acres of maize etc.

Additionally, he also has 17,500 poultry birds, 72 sheeps, 256 cattles, 441 goats, 264 pigs and 7,000 snails just to mention a few. He was the 2021 1st runner up best National Farmer.

After being crowned as the overall best 2022 National Farmer, on behalf of the other 14 awardees, thanked President Akufo Addo for implementing so many policies in the Agriculture sector to improve the standard of living of the Ghanaian farmers.

Furthermore, President Akufo Addo commended the hardworking Ghanaian for their massive contributions towards the country’s development.

He went further to appeal to Ghanaians to accept the 2023 budget and economic policy because the fiscal policies in it will him to achieve the measures put in place by his NPP government to fight against the current economic hardship.
