
A 20 year old Dennis Aboagye, a student of Akropong Presbyterian Training College of Education has been adjudged as overall best winner of 2022 student writer of the maiden edition of Teacher Trainee Association of Ghana, Eastern and Greater Accra sector Excellence Award
He is member of Church of Pentecost in Ada Assembly in the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly of the Eastern Region.
Dennis Aboagye was nominated as 2022 writer of the year and following that, the Presiding Elder of the Church of Pentecost of Koforidua-Ada Assembly, Elder Michael Kofi Asinor took it upon himself together with the congregation to contribute offering every Sunday to support him in the voting process to grab such award. The award ceremony was held at Accra college of of Education on 4th February, 2023 to honor him.

With the support from the Church members and other individuals, Dennis Aboagye emerged as the poetic writer of the year and overall best winner of the 2022 Teacher Trainee Association of Ghana, Eastern and Greater Accra Sector (TTAG-EGA) Excellence Awards.
The award winner then received a plaque , cash price, 32 inch LED television, reading books and a citation from the event organizers. Meanwhile some other fifteen nominees also awarded in different categories respectively.
Celebrating Dennis Aboagye in the Church of Pentecost, the Presiding Elder for Koforidua- Ada Assembly of the Church, Elder Michael Kofi Asinor entreated the youth to devote their time in serving God by taken part in all church programs, in doing so, the church will also support them when the needs arise.
The presiding elder Michael Kofi Asinor said ” they thank God their brother has brought the crown home.

According to the award winning Aboagye Dennis, he is overwhelmed for the support shown him by the church members.
He then show his heartfelt gratitude to all and sundry who made his dreams to become a reality.
He said , “he developed interest in poetic writing at a younger age after he lost his Dad, saying, he was so sad to the extent he didn’t know what to do and as a result, he decided to put his feelings into poem writing.
“The award received remind me of my father’s death, but believe that through this award, God will bless and show me the path,” he wept.
