The Adukuromhene, in the Eastern Region, has described as laudable the gesture of the Akuapehene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akufo III for embarking on a visitation tour to the divisions of the traditional area.
According to Ahunuabobrim Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio V, the Adukuromhene, the gesture by the overlord of the Akuapem Traditional Council is apt and deserves acknowledgment.
His commendation comes after Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akufo III embarked on a royal visit to all the five divisions in the Traditional Area. The five divisions include Kronti, Nifa, Gyaase, Adonten, and Benkum.
The exercise dubbed: ‘AKUAPEHENE NKABOM TOUR’ which translates as ‘Akuapehene’s togetherness tour’ commences on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Nifa division.
Speaking to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH, Ahunuabobrim Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio V, who doubles as the Nifahene of the Akuapem Traditional Council said the move will bring unity, peace, togetherness, and love among the people in Akuapemman.
Having said that he noted the traditional overlord first seek to use the tour amidst dialogue to resolve all pending chieftaincy disputes in the area.
A step, he admits to being in the right direction, because the latter believes societies are developed once there’s a unifying front, especially among the chieftiancy institution.
The Adukuromhene thus assured the Akuapehene of the support of the aforementioned divisions to ensure his vision of making Akuapemman a litigation-free-chieftiancy enclave become a reality and also prayed for a successful and purposeful ending of the tour.
