Yaa Ansaa Safori, MP hopeful- New Juaben South Constituency, E/R.

The Member of Parliament hopeful for New Juaben South Constituency on in the Eastern Region on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer for Yaa Ansaa Safori Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization based in New Juaben South Municipality on Saturday, December 9, 2023, supported the Ada community a suburb in Koforidua with building materials to be used to refurbish their deteriorating water tank that supplies water to the residents in the area.

She and her team at the same time embarked on communal labor where they clean the area to help prevent them from contacting any unforeseen diseases.

Speaking to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH, Yaa Ansaa Safori stated that her gesture follows a complaint lodged to her by the Assemblyman for Ada Magazine Electoral Area, Richard Okyere over the state of their water tank.

Some of the donated building materials with an amount of money worth ¢10,000.00 include 50 bags of cement, 50 pieces of roofing sheets, 50 boxes of nails, and 50 boxes of bottled water with some wood.

Yaa Ansaa Safori Foundation has over the past years offered support to many residents in the New Juaben South especially the aged and has registered about 900 children onto the National Health Insurance Scheme this year [2023].

She donates to the hospitals in the constituency from time to time over the years where both in and out patients benefit especially children.

According to her, she is a native and resident of Koforidua and was once a beneficiary of the same water tank thus saw the needful to support them because their health was paramount to her in that regard.

She underscores the significance of embarking on such a gesture noting that every good leader must prioritize the healthcare of its people first including basic their needs.

Touching on her philanthropical works, Madam Safori said it was through this some members of the area chiefs within the New Juaben traditional area yearned to lead them in Parliament come 2024.

“So if God permit and NPP open the nomination I would also go and pick up my forms and join the race to contest the New Juaben South Constituency’s Parliament seat because the constituents believe in me that am the only one who can bring developmental projects to their doorsteps and help them get job doing”, she officially declared her intention.

For his part, the Adahene, Nana Agyei Sarpong II commended the CEO of Yaa Ansaa Safori Foundation for her kind gesture.

He vows they would rally their support behind her to ensure she wins the New Juaben South NPP’s parliamentary primaries because once she goes to Parliament as their MP she will do bigger things for them.
