Nana Ampaw Addo Frimpong, popularly known as Chief Buffalo in the political cycle has unseated the current Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region in the New Patriotic Party’s ended Parliamentary primaries.
He polled 222 votes as against Gifty Twum Ampofo’s 202 votes while Palgrave Boakye Danquah had 76 votes and Nana Kwame Mamfe also managed to secure 4 votes.
Speaking to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH, the newly elected Abuakwa North Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Addo Frimpong shows appreciation to the delegates for glorifying him and allowing him to come and lead the party into the December 7, 2024 Ghana’s general elections.
He assured them that he would not let them down, assuring them to fulfill all the promises he made to them to enable them to give him the nod and represent the area in Parliament after the general election.
Chief Buffalo admonished his supporters not to hoot at anybody because they all belong to one family.
“But the most important thing we have to do now is to give respect to our sitting MP and rally our support behind her to do her work well because if we do that it will help me to continue her good works for the good people of Abuakwa North”, he added.
He further said that he had come at the right time to rescue the seat because the 2020 election result they got in the Abuakwa North was not encouraging and thus he is bringing in new energy to increase their vote margin.
He then pleaded with the Abuakwa North constituents to come out in their numbers and come December 7, 2024, to vote for him to win the Parliamentary seat and replicate the same votes for Dr. Alhaji Bawumia as well to become the president.
