Alhaji Umar B. K. Bodinga, MCE- Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly

The Municipal Chief Executive for Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region, Alhaji Umar Babs Kofi Bodinga has asked Assembly Members to have it in mind that they do not receive monthly salaries.

According to him, any Assembly Member who thinks he or she would be paid should have a second thought because theirs job is sacrificial.

Umar Bodinga, therefore urged them to put in more effort to ensure they lobby for developmental projects for their various communities.

He reminded that assembly members only received allowances during meetings as a way of easing their burden of transportation fares.

He made this known during the inauguration of the 16-elected Assembly Members and 8 government appointees who will run the affairs of the assembly till 2027.
