2024 Election: Let Us Avoid Complacency… Akuapem South PC

Eric Apeadu Yeboah, PC Elect – Akuapem South Constituency.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Eric Apeadu Yeboah has reminded the party of the task ahead of them going into the 2024 election, warning against complacency.

According to him, breaking the eight-year term is feasible but it won’t happen on a silver platter as it requires hard work because their main contender National Democratic Congress is not an easy nut to crack.

“As we are putting in place measures to secure power in 2025, the NDC is also doing the same preparation to snatch the power from us; hence we shouldn’t underrate them,” he added.

Eric Yeboah again said, that if they want to win the elections, then they have to work extra hard to increase the votes they pulled in the 2020 general elections for them to achieve their vision to stay in power for the next eight years to enable them continue the good works for mother Ghana.

The Akuapem South Parliamentary Candidate made these remarks when inaugurating their campaign team for the upcoming 2024 general elections.

The inauguration of the Akuapem South Constituency’s campaign team was done by the Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Kwamoso.

Eric Apeadu Yeboah then advised members of the campaign team to propagate the numerous projects done by the NPP government to the people of the area to give them another mandate to do more for them and transform the country.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong for his part pleaded with the party members to forget about the things that occurred during their parliamentary primaries and come on board to rally behind the party to retain power come 2025.

“I once went to an election and lost but I didn’t let it discourage me from staying away from the party activities because some time ago I also defeated someone to become a Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency and that is the beauty of the game,” he recounted.

“We needed a unifying front to go into this election to help our Flagbearer, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia win it and come and continue the good works of President Akufo Addo,” he said.
