Limited Voter Registration: Ghanaian Youth Urge To Partake To Save Free SHS Policy

The New Patriotic Party’s Secretary for Akuapem North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Samuel Kodua Boateng has entreated Ghanaian youth who have turned 18 years to involve themselves in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise to save the free Senior High School Education policy.

According to him, the behavior of members of the National Democratic Congregation (NDC) indicates that when they return to power after the 2024 elections they will abolish the free SHS policy that has benefited many Ghanaian youth.

For this reason, he suggested the youth get their names registered to vote massively for the NPP on December 7 to help save the free Senior High School for the future generation.

Samuel Boateng defended that it is only the NPP government who introduces programs and policies that help the youth to live their dreams.

“The youth who have turned 18 years and above and are enjoying the Free SHS education are the beneficiaries of the free maternal healthcare program implemented by former President John Agyekum Kufour; hence they should take this registration seriously and help maintain NPP in power,” he mentioned.

The Akuapem North Constituency Secretary made the statement in an interview with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH.

He noted that as far as the limited voter registration exercise in the area is concern it has been successful without any challenges.

He revealed that the Akuapem North Constituency has registered over 2000 new voters.

Both the NDC and NPP executives in the Akuapem North are impressed with how the registration exercise is going on and there haven’t been any complaints, he said further.
