Presidential Advisor on Health Announces Good News To 2021 Graduate Nurses

The Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare has urged all the Nurses who completed School in 2021 to exercise restraint for the government because measures have been put in place to employ them.

According to him, the government is employing them in badges that is set to happen hopefully the end of the year.

He believes that before December, the Finance Ministry will give them financial clearance to absorb the 2021 graduate nurses.

Dr. Nsiah-Asare added that they have heard some people are collecting monies from the some of unposted graduate nurses and deceiving them by adding their names to those the Ministry of Finance has released money for them to be employed.

He indicated that the Ghana Health Service has the pin number of all the graduating nurses, and that was what they used to absorb them when the Finance Ministry gave them clearance.

‘So if your name is not part of their list despite paying money to goro people, you won’t be employed’ hence, advising them to be vigilant.

The Presidential Advisor on Health made this known when the 2021 graduate nurse asked him a question about their postings at Koforidua Center for National Culture on Tuesday, September 3, during the Eastern Regional second edition of the 2024 Town Hall Meeting and exhibition program spearheaded by the Information Ministry.

This program is aimed at showcasing the infrastructure projects done by the government across all the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the country.

He further stated that they were looking forward to posting about 15,000 2021 graduated nurses this year and pleaded with them to have hope in the NPP government led by President Nana Addo.

He asserted that the government is committed to complete and commission most of the agenda 111 hospitals, thus, the need to absorbed these nurses.
