We won’t Allow Any ‘Idiot To Insult Iconic Former President Kufour…Salam Mustapha

Salam Mustapha, National Youth Organizer-NPP.

The National Youth Organizer of the New New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha has sent a word of caution to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who made derogatory comments about former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

He warned that if they do not desist from the act, then they should prepare themselves to face the NPP’s wrath.

“I’ve seen that the NDC has thrown some mad people on the street to attack and insult former President John Kufour and they must end it now and let them do a clean politics that will bring development to Ghana otherwise they will show them that the NPP has more mad people who are willing to dirtiest themselves to defend and protect the legacies of their leaders than them,” he added

According to him, they wouldn’t allow any idiot to humiliate the iconic former President Agyekum Kufuor and go scot-free.

Salam Mustapha sent these warnings to the NDC when addressing the NPP faithful at Akyem Old Tafo during the mega-health walk exercise organized by the Abuakwa North NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the Eastern Region, Nana Ampaw Kwame Addo Frimpong on Sunday, November 17, 2024, to energies the grassroots base ahead of the December polls.

It can be recalled that after the Supreme Court quashed away the decision of the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to declare 4 seats in the House vacant, former President Kufuor urged him to comply with the ruling to protect the positive image of the Parliament and these made some of the NDC members attacked him to mind his own business.

Salam Mustapha mentioned that NPP stands for peace and unity, but if the NDC faithful continue to rain insult on their leaders, especially former President John Agyekum Kufuor, they will also face them squarely to let them know that they value their leaders.

Nana Ampaw Kwame Addo Frimpong, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Abuakwa North Constituency said that the turnout of the exercise indicated they are ready to retain the parliamentary seat.

Chief Buffalo, as he popularly called, added the NPP members in the Abuakwa North shouldn’t think that retaining the parliamentary seat wouldn’t come on silver, but rather it requires hard work, dedication, commitment, and determination to make it happen.

Chief Buffalo furthered by saying that retaining both the Presidential and Parliamentary seats for the party is feasible if everybody gets involved in the door-to-door, market-to-market, and bedroom-to-bedroom campaign.
