The Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region, Frank Appiah, who is widely known in the political space as ‘Oil Money,’ has alleged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) intends to destabilize the 2024 election in their two strongholds—the Ashanti and Eastern Regions.
According to him, the NDC plans to cause chaos at polling stations in these regions at 3:00 PM in an attempt to reduce voter turnout and manipulate the election results.
Oil Money urged all members of the Elephant family, as well as NPP sympathizers in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions, to go to the polling stations early and cast their votes. He emphasized that doing so would allow voters to complete the process before 3:00 PM, preventing the NDC from carrying out their disruptive plans.
This strategy, he believes, will help the NPP secure victories in both regions and retain power in 2025.
He made this revelation during the Victory Walk organized by the Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem South Constituency, Eric Apeadu Yeboah, ahead of the 2024 elections.
Oil Money also encouraged NPP supporters in Akuapem South to set aside their differences and unite in working hard to secure both the Presidential and Parliamentary seats, ensuring that the party’s successful policies continue to benefit the nation.
Eric Apeadu Yeboah, the Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem South, stated that the NPP’s main rival has realized that Akuapem South belongs to the NPP.
He urged constituents to vote overwhelmingly for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s Flagbearer, to succeed outgoing President Akufo-Addo and bring transformative change to Ghana through digitalization and job creation for the youth.
Apeadu Yeboah also expressed gratitude to NDC members in the constituency for their campaign efforts to support the NPP, acknowledging their understanding that the NDC cannot win they know the Akuapem South seat.
