The Parliamentary Candidate for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frank Aseidu Bekoe, also known as “Protozoa” has advised New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters to remain at the polling stations after casting their votes.
This, he believes, will ensure that the votes are counted accurately and in favor of the NPP.
At a final mega-walk and rally held in Suhum on Sunday, December 1, 2024, Protozoa expressed concerns that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are planning to compromise the electoral process by way of snatching away ballot papers.
He emphasized the importance of protecting the ballot boxes to prevent any potential manipulation to see their dreams of retaining power shuttered.
Protozoa, known for his bravery, has pledged to advocate for infrastructure development in Suhum if elected as a Member of Parliament.
He is optimistic that the NPP will emerge victorious in the 2024 elections, with Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia being sworn in as the next President of Ghana on January 7, 2025.
The Eastern Regional Secretary for NPP, Anthony Osei-Adjei, in his speech also urged NPP members who had joined camp with independent candidate – Oboafo Kwadjo Asante to reunite with the NPP and fight for victory in the upcoming elections.
