2024 Election: Let Us Avoid Complacency… Akuapem South PC

Eric Apeadu Yeboah, PC Elect – Akuapem South Constituency.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Eric Apeadu Yeboah has reminded the party of the task ahead of them going into the 2024 election, warning against complacency.

According to him, breaking the eight-year term is feasible but it won’t happen on a silver platter as it requires hard work because their main contender National Democratic Congress is not an easy nut to crack.

“As we are putting in place measures to secure power in 2025, the NDC is also doing the same preparation to snatch the power from us; hence we shouldn’t underrate them,” he added.

Eric Yeboah again said, that if they want to win the elections, then they have to work extra hard to increase the votes they pulled in the 2020 general elections for them to achieve their vision to stay in power for the next eight years to enable them continue the good works for mother Ghana.

The Akuapem South Parliamentary Candidate made these remarks when inaugurating their campaign team for the upcoming 2024 general elections.

The inauguration of the Akuapem South Constituency’s campaign team was done by the Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Kwamoso.

Eric Apeadu Yeboah then advised members of the campaign team to propagate the numerous projects done by the NPP government to the people of the area to give them another mandate to do more for them and transform the country.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong for his part pleaded with the party members to forget about the things that occurred during their parliamentary primaries and come on board to rally behind the party to retain power come 2025.

“I once went to an election and lost but I didn’t let it discourage me from staying away from the party activities because some time ago I also defeated someone to become a Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency and that is the beauty of the game,” he recounted.

“We needed a unifying front to go into this election to help our Flagbearer, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia win it and come and continue the good works of President Akufo Addo,” he said.

Election 2024: We Will Campaign At NDC Offices To Canvas Vote…Protozoa

The Parliamentary Candidate for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frank Asiedu Bekoe who is well-known in the political cycle as Protozoa says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is leaving no stone unturned come the 2024 general elections in their quest for re-election.

According to him, they will work tirelessly to ensure that the NPP retains the seat and continues its good works as every good thing about the country has been their hallmark.

He believes that achieving such a feat requires doing extra work through massive campaigns, therefore, they would be extending it to the various offices of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ensure an evidence-based campaign coupled with track records to win votes from supporters of the NDC.

Frank Bekoe argued that despite the NDC’s propaganda and desperation for power, they [NDC] yearned for the NPP to always be in power over any other political party.

“When the NPP Government started the Free Senior High School education policy it was the NDC people who benefited most from this initiative because it saved them a lot of money for different projects which could have been used to pay their ward’s school fees,” he added.

Frank Asiedu Asiedu made this assertion during the launch of the NPP’s campaign team in the Suhum Constituency. The constituted team is expected to oversee the campaign activities in the area while championing the ideas and policies of the party to residents for votes in the next general elections.

The Suhum NPP Constituency Chairman, Fredrick Ofosu on his part calls for unity amongst the party members, urging they forgo their differences and form a unifying front to help the party achieve its mission of retaining power.

According to him, the battle ahead of the party is breaking the eight-year term and nothing else, hence, the only magic for such a task is teamwork to ensure it becomes feasible and possible.

Furtherance, a former NPP Communication Director for Eastern Region, David Prah who graced the launching ceremony commended President Akufo Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the unprecedented achievement under the NPP’s led administration.

Just to mention a few, he indicated that the Free SHS policy, as one of the outstanding initiatives by the President has made it possible for every Ghanaian child to have access to quality education.

David Prah continues adding that the NDC’s flagbearer John Mahama cannot compare himself to the President and his Vice during his term as President until the NPP took over in 2016.

In his conclusion statement, he cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the NDC come the 7 December 2024 exercise as John Mahama is not an option to lead the country in 2025 because he had nothing new to offer.

I’ll Prove To You How Proactive President Is Being Done…Bawumia To Maham

Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Flagbearer  Elect-NPP.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia says when elected in the December 7, 2024 elections as president he would be proving Ghanaians wrong most especially the former President John Dramani Mahama his worth of being a proactive President to change the fortunes of this country.

According to the NPP’s flagbearer who doubles as the Vice President, when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader was Ghana’s President until 2016 he performed abysmally.

Therefore he sees no reason why the latter should be given any second opportunity because Ghanaians had witnessed his handwriting already and had nothing new to offer.

“Kicked against John Mahama’s second coming as President and vote for a President who would go for 8 years and work hard to bring changes in your standard of living,” he urged Ghanaians.

Dr. Bawumia made these remarks on Saturday, March 30, 2024, when he joined the Muslim community in Suhum to pray and break the fasting with them.

“I’m still the mate so if Ghanaians give me the nod to become the substantive driver after the 2024 general elections they are going to see a great transformation in the country,” he added.

The Vice President then admonished the youth to desist from any form of violent act that could lead to chaos in this country before, during, and after the December 7 polls so that we can continue enjoying the peace God has bestowed on us.

Frank Asiedu Bekoe, P.C Elect- Suhum Constituency.

The Parliamentary Candidate elected for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frank Asiedu Bekoe popularly known as Protozoa said that this was the first time a sitting Vice President had come to Suhum and prayed with the Muslim community and at the same time break his evening fasting with them and thus they were grateful to him for such gesture.

According to him, Muslims in the NPP fraternity are few however during the party’s Presidential primaries, it is the Christians who voted massively for Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party into the 2024 general elections.

“Dr. Bawumia is a competent person we can entrust this country under his care because if he wins the elections in 2024, he has another opportunity to contest again and do more infrastructure projects to change the face of the economy likewise the former President John Mahama who doesn’t know what he is coming to do,” he told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH.

Assent The Anti-LGBTQI Bill Into Law If…Apostle Dadzie To Akufo Addo

The General Overseer of Leaders Light International Church, Apostle Dr. Samuel Kofi Dadzie has entreated President Nana Addo to sign the controversial anti-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) bill into law if he thinks about the future of Ghana for everyone to know that the country does not tolerate such immoral practices.

According to Apostle Dr. Dadzie, though the country lacks financial muscle, finding an economic bailout should be done with things that will destroy the future of the country.

He indicated that in other developed countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, and even Morocco their leaders stood up on their feet and kicked against it, meanwhile, they were also poor and hungry but they did not look at the situation surrounding them and rather worked hard to turn things around because they knew if they accepting such practices could collapse their states thus Ghana must emulate them.

He told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH during its 2024 Easter Convention under the theme: “MY YEAR OF DELIVERANCE” which was held at the Nkawkaw Branch of the Church on Friday, March 29, 2024.

The General Overseer of the Leaders Light International Church stated that if President Addo Danquah Akufo Addo heeds his advice and stands firm to assent to the bill to become a law it will be the biggest legacy for him but if he leaves office for a new president to come and signed it all his good works will be washed away.

Besides whether the bill is being signed by President Nana Addo or not the majority of Ghanaians don’t support it, something he described as an abomination to God.

Apostle Dr. Samuel Dadzie noted that he doesn’t understand why the whites keep forcing Africans especially Ghana to practice such an act, stating that if it were good then “we should do it well and allow same-sex marriage for 10 years and let us see what will happen in Ghana.”

He added that the “white people always pushed us to practice things that would bring diseases to our country and go back to their country to do drugs for it and sell them to us and if we were not lucky they would tell us to exchange our natural resources for the medicine when they realize that it is getting out of hands and we don’t have money to purchase it.”

Apostle Dr. Kofi Dadzie was optimistic that should President Akufo Addo and his cabinet not assent to the bill to become a law to quash the LGBTQI away from the country God will pour his spirit on the future generation to come and overthrow it for his glory to be prevail.

Hunger Won’t Allow Ghana To Sign The Anti-LGBTQI Bill…Presby Moderator

Rt.Rev. A.N. O. Kwakye, Moderator-Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Right. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye says the country would not sign the Anti-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) bill into law because of the external support from its colonial masters.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Opare Kwakye emphatically stated that Ghana is a hunger state so the Western World will continue being dictating for her.

According to him, even if President Akufo-Addo signed the LGBTQ bill into law they would be compelled to unsigned it to prevent the Western countries from not aiding the country financially.

He asked “Why is it that the Western World cannot impose LGBTQI on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Syria, Qatar, Iran, and other countries that have criminalized it?

“The Western World has realized that Africans are hungry and poor and always begging them for arms, hence trying to force us[Ghana] to practice the LGBTQI,” he said.

Right, Rev. Dr. Abraham Kwakye made this assertion on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Aburi Presbyterian Church of Ghana when celebrating the Palm Sunday festive under the theme: “HOSANNA, LORD SAVE US NOW”.

He further stated that ‘we are hungry, but we have all the natural resources because of the bad leadership style we are suffering and today the whites are dictating for us how to run and manage the affairs of a Sovereign State like Ghana, he described the situation as very painful.’

Right. Rev. Dr. Nana Kwakye mentioned that during the COVID-19 period, no flight was allowed to fly to different countries, and it paved the way for both the poor and rich to receive medical care at the same hospitals in Ghana, indicating that is one advantage of the virus.

“If not, those in the leadership positions would have flown outside the country to treat themselves because they know the hospitals they have built for Ghanaians are not the standard ones,” he opined.

The Moderator was of the view that if the country had things right and put up standard hospitals in the country and managed our natural resources well, the Western World would not have imposed some practices on the country.
