The Eastern Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Hon. Kiston Akomeng Kissi has received 13 high specification Motorbikes and Accessories from the Member of Parliament for Atiwa and Deputy Minister of Finance Hon. Abena Osei Asare to support the campaign of the party.

The motorbike were received at a short presentation in Koforidua the Eastern Regional capital.

Receiving the items, Hon. Kiston Akomeng Kissi mentioned that the Motorbike will facilitate the movement of the grassroot Members of the party and Volunteer Groups to mobilise and canvas voters to vote massively for the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and all the Party’s Parliamentary Candidates in the Region.

He commended Hon. Abena Osei Asare for her philanthropic spirit and continuous support for the Region.

On her part, Hon. Abena Osei Asare (MP) stated that the presentation forms part of her commitment to resource the Regional Executives led by Hon. Kiston Akomeng Kissi to mobilise members of the party towards victory 2020.

The Eastern Regional Executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party has set itself to win 30 out of 33 Parliamentary seats in the Region and 70% of the popular votes for the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the Party’s Presidential Candidate.

Eastern Region has seen massive developmental projects under the Presidency of the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party such as the Eastern University at Somanya, Eastern Sports Stadium, Regional Hospital, District Hospitals in new districs, One District One Factory, School Projects such as Dormitories, Classroom Blocks, New Senior High School at Atiwa West and Larteh, numerous IPEP projects, numerous Road projects, among others not forgetting the numerous social intervention programmes Free SHS, Planting for Food and jobs, Restoration Allowances for Trainee Nurses and Teachers, payment of NHIS debt, digitization the economy, etc.

A former Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has presented campaign logistics to six constituencies to help support them run their campaigns effectively.
The beneficiaries are New Juaben North, New Juaben South, Suhum, Mpraeso, Nkawkaw and Nsuta Kwaman Beposo.

The items include Motorcycles, Posters of the NDC flag bearer, John Mahama and the Parliamentary candidates, T-shirts and other paraphenelias. The rest are laptops to help in coalition and Campaign Fliers.

Presenting the items on his behalf in New Juaben North, the former Eastern Regional secretary of the NDC, Mark Oliver Kevor told them to “hit the grounds and preach the gospel according to the People’s Manifesto and Second Coming of John Mahama”.

He urged them to hit the ground running, explaining that it is the only surest way to work voters for the NDC.

The New Juaben North constituency chairman, Alhaji Nasiru and the Parliamentary candidate, Emmanuel Asante who received the items expressed gratitude to the former minister and appealed to the other Sons and Daughters of the constituency to emulate the good example of Dr Omane Boamah.

” We are very grateful to Dr. omane for his immense support. This is not his first time, he’s been supporting this constituency anytime we are I need. He pays our office rent and other logistics so I am urging all other former appointees to emulate what he’s been doing. We are much grateful to him” . The chairman stated.
Mr. Emmanuel Asante on his part, assured the party of massive votes for the party in the New Juaben North constituency.

Member of Parliament for Akuapem North Constituency in the Eastern Region who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Information, Hon. Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah Adjei has disclosed in an interview with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH that about 218 communities in her Constituency have seen a massive developmental projects under the Akufo-Addo’s led administration.

My constituency is very big and currently we have 32 electoral areas. The constituency have divided into two; that’s upper and lower hills. The upper hills start from Obosomase through to Akropong to Larteh. The Lower hills also start from Mamfe through to Mangoase to Okorase.

Out of the 218 communities am talking about, most of them are at the Lower hills part. We have some of the communities if you want to go there you have to go by foot.

“But because of the good policies this gov’t have brought, it has helped us to extend development to all those communities. I used my share of the one million dollar allocation per every constituency to do extra shades for the market women in Adowso with toilet facility. The Adowso market women finds themselves wanting especially on the market days ” she hinted.

“When it comes to the developmental projects , the Akuapem North have benefited a lot from NPP’s gov’t led by Prez Nana Addo” she reveals.

“The good people of Akuapemman, we have come to you again to give us another nod to continue our good works as you did for us in 2016 general elections” MP appeals.

Hon. Nana Ama Dokua continues that “after voting us to power, we didn’t failed Ghanaians. If you turn around and look vividly at where you stays you could see that we have fulfilled all our promises one by one. All the good things we have done in our 4yrs are visible for everyone to see it”

“Some are completed and some are also ongoing. So we are pleading with Ghanaians especially the Akuapem North Constituents to vote NPP again come off December 7 , polls to accomplished our good works” she plead.

“We brought Free SHS education and other social intervention programmes so if we says Ghanaians should vote us to continue our good works please understand us vote NPP to do more for us all” she noted.

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region who doubles as the Minister of Works Housing, Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea has commissioned the Kyebi ultra modern Zongo Astro Turf Wembley park.

In an interview with the press, Hon. Atta Kyea praised Prez Akufo-Addo and his affable hardworking Minister of Zongo and Inner Cities Development, Hon. Dr. Mustapha Hamid for given the Zongo Community in his Constituency one of their ongoing ultra modern parks and he describes them as ‘civilised people’

He indicated that, this is not only the developmental projects that’s ongoing under Prez Nana Addo’s regime. ‘He is constructing roads and building hospitals in every District and this shows that he thinks about the welfare of its citizens’

Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea revealed that, next 4years would be call a ‘legacy year’. He explained that they are going to built 6 flat houses in every District of Ghana. The Akufo-Addo flat will take place all over the country to ensure that people wouldn’t migrate from their various places to the cities to cause congestion.

“We are in the era of development. Ghanaians shouldn’t make a mistake to dump Prez Nana Addo for any other person and he must be rewarded for his good works coming off December 7, polls to transform Ghana” he noted.

The Kyebi Chief Imam, Umar Abubakar expressed his profound gratitude to Prez Akufo-Addo and his gov’t especially their MP, Hon. Samuel Atta Kyea for the beautiful ediphase of the Astro Turf park received.

“When we heard from our MP that, they are going to give us the Astro turf park, some people raised a concern that is this the main priority of the Zongos?. But we know that this structure is very important to us” said Chief Imam Abubakar.

“Because today if you play football is like you’re mining gold, there is so many profit in the game of football and I think it will help the Zongo youth to exhibit their talent also to create opportunities for them” he continue

Furthermore, the Minister of Zongo and Inner City Development, Hon. Dr. Mustaph stated, they didn’t built the facility for beautification purposes but they want the facility to be put to use. “Use it for Muslim events and social gatherings. Because the astro turf is too big and can’t be only use it play football”

Hon. Minister charged the DCE for the Assembly Hon. Kwadwo Ofori Sarfo to ensure to set up a management committee and their core mandate is to, charge fees from people who will come and hire the facility for their programmes.

“….And it will open up to anybody who want to do programme at the field including the NDC party so that in the coming years when they come to power again, they can recognize the good works of Prez Nana Addo”

“We need people to come and use the facility so that we can be able get enough money to take of the facility. Because we always say all the time we will use government money to rehabilitate it then we will be wasting resources and we don’t want it that way” hon. Hamid.

Parliamentary Candidate for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Suhum Constituency of the Eastern Region, Mrs. Amanda Okyere Kwatia has stressed, ‘the only one way we could see that a certain government have perform better and have done developmental projects for its citizens is when we changes the government’

She lamented, in USA both the Democratic and Republican comes and go and they all have something to show to their people that in their tenure in office as gov’t, this is what they were able to achieved.

But If you come to Suhum Constituency, the NPP MP’s have ruled here over 20yrs but they have nothing to show to the constituents. So this 2020 general elections the good people of Suhum have determined to change NPP and bring NDC to power. “I am confident that I will win the Suhum seat”

Mrs. Okyere Kwatia emphatically stated, the “Member of Parliament seat should be occupied by a responsible person with the spirit of serving and sacrificed” and that person is Amanda Okyere Kwatia.

She added that, if you vote John Dramani Mahama and Amanda Kwatia as your MP whenever Prez John Mahama is sharing developmental projects the Suhum Constituency will also get its portion.

Mrs. Amanda Okyere Kwatia made these known to the press when she was addressing the NDC party members at Suhum main lorry station after embarking on massive victory health walk.

Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who joined to graced the occasion, on his part said, ‘this years elections, Suhum will definitely changed and vote for Amanda Okyere Kwatia and John Mahama to bring development to the constituency’

“Looking at the NDC people’s manifesto, the manifesto that’s successful and before we will come to power, the NPP gov’t has already stolen it and try to implementing it. Hon. Okudzeko Ablakwa continue that, the reasons why we call our manifesto big push agenda is that there is so many good things in it. With the big push agenda we have set aside 10 billion dollars to construct our bad roads. The infrastructure deficit we have as a country, with the big push agenda we will make sure that all those infrastructure deficit will be addressed ones and for all.

“If Prez Mahama says he will construct roads, build schools, Hospitals, do portable water, electricity etc he will do it because he has done some before and we know his track records” he praises.

The former NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Weija Gbawe and currently the Deputy Communication Director for the party, Mrs. Obuobia Darko-Opoku further stated, we are going to do the job for John Mahama and Amanda Okyere to win the December 7, polls. So wherever we will go and meet someone we should try as much as possible to have a dialogue with them because our competitors and are going rounds and lying to the people about us.

Mrs. Darko-Opoku continue that, Prez John Dramani Mahama start the Free SHS education first but today the NPP people are telling Ghanaians that if Prez Mahama come he will mothballed the Free SHS education which is not true.

“I’m demolishing each and everyone of you here to go and do campaign and explained it to whomever you will meet that Prez John Mahama haven’t said that anywhere that, when he is voted to power, he will nix or call off the Free SHS education as the NPP claims. But rather he is coming to make it attractive and make sure that all our children will go to school at the same time and vacate at the same time as well” she noted.

Mr Stephen Osei -Wusu, Communications Director for the rulling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Abuakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region, who doubles as the Municipal National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) director, has sent a strong signal to the parliamentary candidate of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Charles Darko Yeboah popularly called Ozey to desist from using the name of the late Honourable member of parliament Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu as his role model so that his humble soul rests in perfect peace.

He stated that, Mr Charles Darko Yeboah has been parading himself as a replica or a surrogate of the late member of parliament, a situation he describes as very unfortunate and serpentine.

“I find it ridiclous and unfortunate to hear Mr Charles Darko Yeboah mentioning the late JB as his mentor. It is this same Mr Darko and his NDC that said the late JB Danquah Adu was under performing as an MP and publicly congratulated one Mr Wahab, now the deputy communication officer of NDC Abuakwa North, after assulting the late MP JB Danquah Adu on 7th December 2012” he said.

“JB Danquah Adu was a visionary, philanthropic and development oriented, astute politician above all God fearing. Mr Charles Darko should stop putting salt in the people of Abuakwa North wounds by continuesly reminding the Constituency of a great lost that hit us some few years back” he cries.

Mr. Osei-Wusu further explained that, he don’t understand why he won’t choose H.E Victor Smith as his role model for they share same party idiologies, why should he(Ozey) be sponsored by H.E Victor Smith and campaign in the name of the late JB who defeated H.E Victor Smith? I beseech Mr Darko to tell the populace what he has done and will do if voted into power thereby allowing the humble soul of our dear JB Danquah Adu to rest in peace for JB never wore NDC colours.

Since he has no message of hope for the people of Abuakwa North as compared to our incumbent and hard working member of parliament who doubles as the deputy minister of education incharge of Technical And Vocational Education And Training (TVET), Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo who has replaced the late JB and has never relented in discharging her duties as member of parliament for the Constituency, he (Ozey) declined a public debate between Hon Gifty Twum-Ampofo and himself organized by Sunrise Fm which was slated for 23rd October, 2020, a clear sign of no vision and message for NDC 2020.” Mr Stephen Osei -Wusu jabbed.

He added that, the unprecedented developmental footprints Hon Gifty Twum-Ampofo has left in every community in the Constituency for her first four year tenure, puts the NDC in a state of shock, thereby finding avenues to align themselves with the NPP winning team.

Mr Osei-Wusu further urged all eligible voters in the Constituency to cast their votes for Nana Akufo-Addo and Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo to consolidate victory cometh 2020 general elections for continuity of development as they have witnessed in the three years in administration.

Gifty Twum Ampofo (born June 11, 1967) is a Ghanaian politician and a Member of Parliament of the New Patriotic Party. She is currently the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She is the current deputy minister of education incharge of Technical And Vocational Education And Training (TVET).

“In 2016, she contested and won the NPP parliamentary primaries after the demise of JB Danquah Adu after which she proceeded to win the parliamentary seat during the 2016 general elections.Two other candidates namely Victor Emmanuel Smith of the National Democratic Congress and Mr. Patrick Adjei Danquah, an Independent candidate also contested in the general elections held in 2016.Ampofo won the election by obtaining 17,838 votes out of the 30,281 cast, representing 59.23 percent of total valid votes” he reveals.

The Kuntunse electoral area of the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), launches their campaign team to help the party wins the 2020 elections coming December 7th.
As part of the launch, the part embark on a peaceful walk through the principal street of the community to show love and unity among other political affiliates.

‘We are doing this to tell the people of this electorate that NDC is not at war with any political party, we have only one Ghana and the peace we have should be honoured’ Sedem Afenyo, the parliamentary candidate the party claims.

‘I am winning hands down, i haven’t seen any better project being administered in Kuntunse – Kpobiman and its environment’ he said.

Currently, the opposition party, NDC holds the seat and wants to retained the seat.
‘This time we are not voting abnormal but we are going boost for boot to win for both presidential and parliament seats’ he assures.

The electorate is being contested by Akwasi Afrifa Mensah NPP, Sedem Afenyo, NDC among other political aspirants.

According to the Eastern Regional Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) coordinator, Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim popularly called Alhaji Opass, the Nana Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration have advanced plans to absorb the NABCO trainees after their three (3) year contract.

He said all regional coordinators have been to a workshop to be trained in the modalities to absorb the trainees after their contract with government.

Alhaji Seidu explained that, the NABCO initiative seeks to give the trainees the necessary experience for permanent job placement as mostly required by most employers.

“Due to working experience, most of the graduates are refused employment, so NABCO came to get them ready to work for the policy is job and learning so they have acquired the necessary skills and experience after these two years and now ready to fit in any job dispensation” Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim.

The Eastern Regional NABCO coordinator added that, he is very confident that all NABCO trainees and coordinators are going to vote massively to consolidate the victory of Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP cometh the 2020 general elections slated for 7th December for the NPP has put food on their tables hence the need to show them (NPP) their appreciation.
He further stated that, NABCO Regional campaign team for NPP has been formed to oversee the victory agenda.

Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim made this declaration, during the Eastern Region second anniversary of NABCO in Koforidua on 22nd October, 2020 with the theme ” Getting The Graduate To Work; The Beginning Of Transition To Permanent Work”.

The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Abuakwa North Municipality, has initiated their second anniversary with massive clean up exercise.

They began the clean up exercise from Akyem Kukurantumi, Ofori Panin SHS, through New Tafo-Akim township to New Tafo-Akim Zongo.
Some of the trainees were spotted wielding fliers with inscriptions “4More For More Jobs, NABCO Is Here To Stay, 4More For Nana 4More For Gifty”.

Speaking to Nana Kwasi Asare, Mr Otuo Serebour, the municipal coordinator of NABCO, mentioned that, this nation builders corps flagship initiative was borne out of the great minds of the Nana Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party’s administration and plans are far advanced to migrate the trainees to permanent job arena after the three year contract.

He added that, they (NABCO) trainees, have really appreciated what the government has done for them so far by providing them with jobs and training and thus will campaign for consolidation of victory for Nana Akufo-Addo and Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo who are representing the party in Abuakwa North cometh 7th December 2020.

Mr Otuo Serebour concluded that, massive float will be organized on the 31st of October 2020 to campaign massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and Honourable Gifty Twum-Ampofo in Abuakwa North.

The Eastern Regional Coordinator for Nation Builders Corps (NaBco) Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim has disclosed that, many Ghanaian graduates after completion of Tertiary Institutions in the country were at home for decades .

They wrote so many letters to a lot of institutions in Ghana thinking they can get some job doing. But they says they don’t have the required experience to work.

Alhaji Ibrahim continue that, NaBco came to get them ready to work. One beautiful thing about the NaBco is that, you learn whiles you’re working and for the two solid years along the line these NaBco Trainees have acquired the necessary skills.

He revealed that, they have had an arrangement with Indian of which some of them are getting their masters from Indian University. They now have the capacity and also know the monumental and out of the job field and now they are ready for permanent job.

Therefore the Creation of NaBco has helped survived many Ghanaian companies from collapsing and now is functioning. He did mention of Ghana Post and Ghana Library board. Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies have met their target because of the NaBco Trainees.

Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim made these known to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview during their 2nd Anniversary Celebration for the hard working NaBco Trainees at Koforidua – Apenteng Hall. He added one more term deserves another. Ghanaians have no option than to give Prez Akufo-Addo another mandate to do more for us.

THEME: GETTING THE GRADUATES TO WORK – THE BEGINNING OF TRANSITION TO PERMANENT JOB.

Some of the NaBco Trainees in an interview with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH were over excited for hearing that, gov’t is going to make them permanent workers.

The good news is that, these trainees will select their preferred institutions they want to work with….They thanked Prez Akufo-Addo for his kind gesture.

The National Pres for Nation Builders Corps Association of Ghana, Mr. Dennis Opoku Katakyie on his part made it clear that, December 7, polls they won’t disappoint Prez Nana Addo and they are going to vote massively for him whether rain or shine.

He indicated that, they have stayed home for many years and if someone has come to give them job doing they can’t be ungrateful to such person.

“This is not a politics but is a fact. We won’t allow any political parties to come and influence us to vote them to power. Because anytime soon all the 100,000 NaBco Trainees across Ghana are going to be permanent workers” Mr. Dennis Katakyie explained.

The MCE for New Juaben South Municipality, Hon. Isaac Apaw Gyasi who graced the the 2nd year Anniversary Celebration admonished the trainees to ensure that as we are approaching the December 7, polls they won’t entertain NDC to come and deceive them to vote for them. Because they have nothing to offer Ghanaians.
