The new installed Kpobiman Zongo Chief in the Ga West Municipality of Greater Accra Region, Sariki Sulemana Amidu I has expressed his great joy and opportunity given to him by the royal throne of the community to serve with them to build the community.
In respond to the recent happening of death in the community, he said good measured have been put in place to trap such people doing that to furnish the image of the town down.
“I have already spoken to all the okader readers in the community among the youth most especially with those who think of having protocols in the community, the law has no respect for anyone” he adviced.

Hon. Nana Kwasi Adjei Boateng, Member of Parliament for New Juaben North Constituency in the Eastern Region has stated, the 8yr cycle agenda his NPP want to break come 2024 elections wouldn’t come on the silver platter but rather it requires a hardwork, unity and togetherness amongst the members of their party to achieve it.

“If not this unexpected global pandemic Covid 19 we would have seen more infrastructure projects in Ghana but even that Prez Nana Addo have done a great work within his 5yrs into office.

Hon Musah Adamu Raha, the Eastern Regional Deputy Nasara Coordinator of NPP, has stated that, Prez Nana Addo is committed in fighting corruption as he’s open up to every Ghanaians to report any appointees of him caught in the act.
” No corrupt Prez will asked its citizens to monitor the activity of its officials and report them when they are being caught of involving themselves in corruption act that will bring the country’s development down” he adds.
He said, corruption sent NDC to opposition because they were just milking the state but Nana Addo in his tenure of fighting corruption has made many Ghanaians to believe that he is ever ready to fight the canker.
“We [NPP] have seen that it is corruption that sent NDC to opposition so they also want to use the corruption tag on NPP to create enormity between NPP and Ghanaians to make our party unpopular for them to be voted NPP out of power come 2024 elections which doesn’t sound well”
Hon. Adamu Raha told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview adding that, the NDC members should find another means in keeping this gov’t on its toes rather than resorting into these falsehood corruption allegations against Prez Akufo-Addo which wouldn’t go anywhere.
Replying to the recent survey by Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) that indicates 62% of Ghanaians says Akufo-Addo can’t curb corruption under his regime as prez, Hon Raha said, they are entitled to their opinion since they might have done their own research and come out with their findings and is that the realities?.
“Who knows those people they spoke with are anti-NPP gov’t and what do you want them to say. Because we have so many civil society groups and organizations in Ghana whose main target is to deliberately run Prez Nana Addo’s gov’t down” he noted.
Hon. Adamu Raha continue that, the CDD-Ghana should let them know the caliber of persons they spoke with during their survey to let them have a fair view on their programme to determine whether their findings are true or not else it will be difficult for them to accept their survey.
The Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly has on the 28th of August, 2021, commissioned and handed over fifty six (56) units newly constructed market sheds and twenty four (24) units renovated with concrete paving six hundred (600) meter square floor area, to the Akyem New-Tafo Community.
The Coordinating Director, Mrs Ruth Woode, in her address stated that, the project was funded from the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT). She commended all stakeholders for their contribution to the achievement of DPAT and called for their usual support and cooperation for more.
Mrs Ruth Woode admonished all the traders who are going to occupy the stalls to keep the best of maintenance culture and assured them that, a fire officer will be deployed to the market to educate them on fire prevention to avoid any future raze.

Receiving the documents of the stalls, Mrs Sarah Agyekum, Tafo Market Queen thanked the Assembly and government as a whole for fixing the market.
She mentioned that, maximum maintenance practice is assured under her supervision and pleaded with the assembly to continue to fix the other sheds to complete the market infrastructural deficit.

The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Hon. Dorcas Afo-Toffey has donated 100 dual desks to Nana Avo Nweah M/A Basic School.
The donation of the desks by Dorcas Afo-Toffey was made to the Human Resource Manager of Jomoro Directorate of Education to be handed over to Nana Avo Nweah M/A basic school.
The donation, which was done on Friday, August 27, 2021 forms part of efforts by the Jomoro MP to contribute to enhance teaching and learning in the Constituency.
Handing over the furniture to the Education Directorate, Hon. Afo-Toffey said, going arounds to the various communities during her parliamentary election campaign tour, it was devastating to see students lying on the floor and others sitting on blocks during teaching and learning hours, a situation she noted affected the impact on pupils.
She reiterated her commitment to education, adding that, she would make sure every school in her constituency get a furniture.
The Hon. MP adds, she will to do her best to utilise the resources available to her and further stating to construct a 6-units classroom block for Nana Avo Nweah M/A Basic School since the school is in dire need of befitting classrooms.

The promise by the MP follows a request from the Chief of Tikobo No-2 Nana Avo Nweah for asking her to provide the school with state of art ICT laboratory.
Mr Cletus Azupe in his speech said “challenge of inadequate furniture has been one of the major impediments hindering effective academy works in the school. So I thank God so much for given us such a kindhearted and a concerned MP who has come to our aid in addressing our challenge”

Mr. Azupe applauded the teachers of the school for enduring academic hardship by handling the students who normally squats or sit on the floor during classes hours.
The Chief of Tikobo No-2 Nana Avo Nweah, called on the parents to support the teaching staff in a way of motivating them since the school is located in a deprived area.
He said, the PTA of the school has a pivotal role to play to improve academics for their wards, hence its their core responsibility for developing the school especially, in the area of assisting the construction of the school’s infrastructure and provide food items for the teachers as well.
The Chairman for Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Yaw Boakye Yiadom has indicated that, they lost the 2008 elections to NDC because the number of the presidential aspirants who contested for the Flagbearership position were too much.
He said, even before the elections there were division among themselves thence taking out one candidature from the rest, the remaining 16 presidential contestants had differences among it followers which played a major role to the party’s defeat.

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo has presented past questions to all the 38 public Junior High Schools in her constituency to help the students to prepare themselves well towards the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The Lawmaker who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), emphatically stressed, they should know that given them the past questions doesn’t mean automatically everything in the textbooks will appear in their final, thus charged them to study very hard to achieve positive results.
“The textbooks include Integrated Science, Social Studies, Religious Moral Education (RME), and English Language and some with the possible answers”. She said the reason why she didn’t add Mathematics to it was that; the teachers from the various schools didn’t accepted the one they got per it content.

She made it clear that, the textbooks are for the schools but not the students. Hon. MP is optimistic that with the help of these textbooks hopefully the students will improve their result in the upcoming exams.
Hon. Gifty Ampofo continue that, she had an open forum with the teachers to know their concerns and challenges confronting them and how to rectify those problems.
In addition, she appealed to the teachers to handle the books well and help the students developed an attitude that we will enable have peace as Ghanaians.
Again they should motivate them to ensure their schools get the best result in the Abuakwa North and going forward the eastern region as well as Ghana.

Moreover, some of the teachers who received the textbooks on behalf of their schools thanked the Hon. MP for her kind gesture and asked God’s blessings upon her life for showing love to the students.
They also asked the parents to helped them trained the students together because they can’t do everything alone.
Some also raised concerns about how some students are becoming truants off late, adding that ever since teachers were being asked to stopped canning the kids they don’t respect at all making indiscipline worse.
The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Michael Okyere Kofi Baafi has schooled Ex Prez John Dramani Mahama that his competitor and incumbent President Akufo-Addo does not need any help from him to solve the high rate of unemployment issues confronting the country.
He emphatically indicated that, former prez Mahama does not have any moral right to make any comment that “he is ready to assist prez Nana Addo and his NPP gov’t to fixed those challenges, should they call him for help”.

Member of Parliament for Akuapem North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei has asked her constituents to exercise patience for her and the gov’t as massive development awaits them when the deadly covid 19 pandemic is over.
The MP who doubles as the Deputy Trade Minister indicated that the coronavirus disease have made many developmental projects a standstill in her constituency and the entire country as whole.
This, she said should Ghana records zero covid 19 cases and the country’s economy is recovered, she is adamant the gov’t will start delivering the infrastructure projects they are seeking for.

She however expressed worried over comments made by her constituents that ‘since NPP came into power they’ve not benefit anything from them’, thus, assured everyone to exercise patient because in due time they’ll be beneficiaries.

The Eastern Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP who is vying for the Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly MCE’s position, Alhaji Umar Bodinga was awarded by the Akuapem North Constituency Executives for his contributions towards the party’s development for decade.
Receiving the award, Alhaji Bodinga expressed his gratitude to the Akuapem North Constituency Executives for recognising his hard work towards their constituency and the regional level at large and promised to keep serving the party with all his heart.
He then used the opportunity and pleaded with Prez Akufo-Addo to consider him for the Abuakwa North MCE slot to help transform the municipality.
Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko,E/R Deputy Youth Organiser -NDC
The Eastern Regional Deputy Youth Organiser on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko has told the director of communication of the ruling New Patriotic Part (NPP), Mr. Buaben Asamoah that, he and his party doesn’t think about the well-being of the ordinary Ghanaian who voted them into power.
According to him, there’s too much suffering in the country due to hardship Ghanains are facing, a situation he said, it clearly indicates there is big gap between NPP and Ghanains at large.
This, Mr. Nyarko stated that, had they [NPP] think of the well-being of voters, he Bauben Asamoah wouldn’t have made a statement saying “there is no hardship in the country”.
“Mr. Buaben Asamoah claims there is No Hardship in Ghana yet still not long a ago civil servants embarked on demonstration, UTAG are demanding for condition of services, and many Ghanaians are also complaining about the increment of commodities, and you’re telling us all is well with us?” he asked.
Mr. Etornam Nyarko then recalled an incident that occurred at Akwatia in the Eastern Region, where a young man stoled uncooked banku on fire an act he described as ‘insane’ since no normal being would involve in such theft unless someone who is severely suffering from hunger and hardship under Nana-Bawumia regime.
He made these known to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview during NDC’s Tertiary Education Institution Network Summit (TEIN) for their Patrons in the region.
Moreover, he hinted that if today members of NPP have access to cheap money as well as living a good life to the extent of telling Ghanaians there is no hardship then we all live to see.
Explaining the purpose of the programme to Kingdom News, Mr. Richard Nyarko said, the TEIN PATRONS from all the 16 Tertiary Institutions in the region plays a key role in the party, hence the need to meet and have dialogue on how to win power come 2024 elections is key.
Amidst the party’s aim of winning power in the 2024 general elections, Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko categorically stated that they will eagerly chase for every single vote.
