The Founder and Leader of Leaders Light International Church in Osabene in the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly of Eastern Region, Apostle Dr. Samuel Dadzie says, Ghanain parliamentarians shouldn’t waste their precious time to discuss the LGBTQI+ Bill whether to implement it to become law or not.
This, according to the Man of God it’s unnecessary to discussion such matter.
“Ghanaians expect Parliamentarians/ Parliament to address to the unemployment rate issues, challenges confronting health, education and roads sector and find solutions to them not LGBTQI+ that wouldn’t bring any development to this country” he said.
Apostle Dr. Dadzie adds, he don’t believe Parliament would pass bill like LGBTQI+ to become law to allow same sex marriage in Ghana, indicating that no matter what it will be quashed away, since Prez Akufo-Addo has made it clear that not under his watch would he allow such inhuman behavior to occurred.
He told kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview during a Sunday church service, stressing that what is ‘illegal is illegal’ as it is abomination before God.
“The LGBTQI+ law that is coming would determine whether we would practice same sex marriage or not. If no ,then the security agencies would enforce the law for everybody to comply with it” he continue.
The Board Chairman for Akro-Farm in the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly of Eastern Region, Mr. Emmanuel Ntow-Kissiedu in an interview with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH has revealed that, scarcity of maiz in the Ghanaian market is making poultry farming so difficult for farmers.
According to him, the price of maize has in recently increased to the extent that farmers can’t afford to purchase.
He said, they have over 80,000 birds (chicken) in which they feed them at their farm. Feeding 1,000 birds(chicken) is not easy and how much more feeding over 80,000 birds imagine the cost involve is huge amount of money.
“Meanwhile we purchase this maize from the farmers in the country. The most painful aspect of it is that; offlate when the farmers harvested their maize they sell them to Burkinabés for France CFA. Because their currency is heavier than ours”.
Mr. Ntow-Kissiedu added, sometimes they have to travelled to Tumu in the Upper West Region before they get access to maize for their birds which is very challenging.
He continued indicating that before the bird flu hit some part or the country, they’ve already put measures in place to protect their birds.
“Because our birds are many and is huge amount of money. So we can’t wait for the flu to kill them before we find solution to it” he said.
However, Mr. Ntow-Kissiedu stressed, everything being equal, they are looking to 2025 to see that the birds (chickens) that would be laying eggs would be amounted to the total number of 1 million.
Furthermore, the founder of Akro-Farm, Dr. Benson Opoku appealed to Prez Akufo-Addo to help them solve the maize menace that is confronting poultry farmers in the country.
He hinted, his poultry farm is under the 1D1F initiative by the NPP gov’t led by H. E. Prez Nana Addo. Stating that they are grateful to Exim Bank for their support.
Dr. Opoku again pleads with Prez Akufo-Addo to come to their aid because they want to expand their farm to create more jobs for the youth within the municipality to help reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

The cause of her death is unknown for now. But information reaching Obohnews indicated that, she suspected of having a malaria and went to the hospital herself for check up. But unfortunately she passed on.

The Eastern Regional NDC Executives has organized one day workshop for the Abuakwa North Constituency branch communication officers to enhance their communication skills ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH speaking in an interview with the eastern regional NDC communication officer, Hon. Darlas Ampomah William noted that the rational behind the programme is to help their work in various constituencies, hence decided to enhances their communication skills before the 2024 general elections approaches.
“Because we want things be easy for them on how to respond to issues when they are communicating for the party either on Radio, TV or even in their various communities in the constituency where they find themselves.
Hon. Ampomah William adds, everybody knows that in 2024 NDC will pronounced victorious and victory also comes with hardworking that is why they embarked on such workshop for their branch communicators to communicate on issues NDC gov’t have achieved in their various counstituencies.
However, Eastern Regional Secretary of NDC, Hon. Kudjo Adupko revealed that when NPP came to power, they ceased excavators of all licensed NDC miners who were into small scale mining which shouldn’t be so.
This, he said, since the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave them license to mine,when they come to power in 2024, they will retrieve all their ceased excavators including the over 500 missing ones and hand over to them to go back to work because they are also Ghanaians.
Hon. Adupko noted that they are not encouraging illegal mining in the country since everyone knows their activity is causing damage to our water bodies and lands as well. Thus, if they want to make any arrest in connection with illegal mining it should be the Chinese not Ghanaians, because they [Chinese] import chanfann machines into the country and use them for illegal mining ( galamsey) on our water bodies.
Some of the branch communication officers who took part in the workshop expressed their excitement about the programme indicating that, they’ve learnt a lot from the workshop.
The programme was held at Only Believe Senior High and Technical School in Akyem Kukurantumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality.
The Central Regional President for Police Wives Association (POLWA) Mrs.Comfort Twimagley has appealed to H. E . Prez Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to replaced all their late husbands who died in the line of duty in the Police Service with their children to help them cater for their homes because their standard of living are very bad .
Mrs. Twimagley explained that,in the olden days when a government worker dies in line of duty,government replace them with their children to help lift most of the burdens from them.
Adding that, it isn’t like that nowadays causing them to pass through abject pains before they could get something to feed themselves and their families, a situation she described as very worrying.
Hence, appealing to the President to re- introduced that old policy by replacing their late officers with their children to help make their living condition comfortable.
She revealed these to Kingdom FM’s Anaafi Kokooto in an interview during their 10th Anniversary Celebration at the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.
“Where to sleep is one of our biggest challenge since we were living with our late officers in rented houses in which most of us are sacked due to our inability to continue paying house rents” ,she lamented.
Hon. Sulemana Adama, Tain Constituency- Bono Region
The Member of Parliament for Tain Constituency in Bono Region has expressed concern about the non-availability of internet connectivity in some 10 communities in his Constituency.
Hon. Adama filed a question asking the Minister for Communication and Digitalisation on the Floor of Parliament, if there is plans to connect the following communities in the Tain constituency to the Rural Telephony Project, Brodie, Yabraso, Atomfourso, Akore,Degedege, Bepoayase, Sampano, Bebunsua, Konkonte, and Kogua.
According to the Legislature, the response given to him by the Minister is not satisfactory since non of the communities falls within the first Phase Project which started this year. The MP is expecting that his constituency also benefit from the project in 2022.
Hon. MP registered his displeasure about the deprived access of internet connection in his constituency elaborating that how can the 10 communities lacks internet connectivity for their daily activity in this 21st century, a situation he described as very disturbing.
Hon. Sulemana Adam told Classic FM’s Yaaso Zachariah in an exclusive interview stating that, lack of internet connectivity affect the economic growth and quality of education in the area.
The Eastern Regional Population Officer of the National Population Council, Mr. Isaac Ter-Ibinibe Sopelle says majority of Ghanain women don’t know their rights, especially those living in the villages due to lack of education.
“As a result, many men encounter on that to maltreat them, should they be well educated and know their right and choices this wouldn’t happen to them”.
“when women are educated they will be empowered and get to know their rights and choices in life” he stressed.
Moreover, he cited our dear mothers and sisters from the northern part of Ghana as victims of such circumstances since their husbands controls them on the do’s and don’t in their marriages to the extent that should one be tasked for a duty at the absence of her husband she won’t hesitate because of fear instilled in them by their latters.

Mr. Isaac Sopelle made these known to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview after the 2021 World Population Day Anniversary engagement with the media on the theme: “Prioritising Reproductive Health is an Answer to Right and Choices “.
He indicated that, World’s Population Day is an annual event which occurs on July 11 of every year that has become a platform in seeking attention on the global trends and their implications for development.
He therefore advised all men to come to their senses that, women are part and parcel of them hence, the need to accord them with maximum respect is key and significant.
Eastern Regional Director for Department of Gender, Mrs. Juliana Abbeyquaye also said, women are going through a lot of challenges in their marriages which every individualistic must help in the assisting of their safety.
She adds, “when a lady is being raped what come into the minds of a lot of people are; what was she wearing or what did she do alone in the darkness around that time. We have to come to the stage where women or ladies can freely pass anywhere and feel comfortable.
This, Mrs. Abbeyquaye indicated that, for medical reasons doctors have schooled many women not to give birth to more than 6 or 7 children but they’re afraid to inform their husbands due to the fear factor in them.
Adding, consequently; they will forced themselves to give birth to more than their strength which sometimes during delivering, they do loose their lives at the labour stage.
Reproductive Health Right; she says, women should be allowed to make a choice on number of children they can give birth to based on their health conditions but fumes how Ghanain men will not agree to that, a situation she described as pathetic.
Furthermore, the Eastern Regional statistician for National Population Council, Mr. Bright Walornyo Neku noted how successful this year’s population and housing census has been indicating that they deployed over 6,000 enumerators across the region for the exercise.
“Our enumerators did a great work by enumerating over 98% of persons living in the region” he added.
Furthermore, Mr. Walornyo took the opportunity and called on Ghanains whose structure was captured during the listing and chalking but has still not be enumerated to call or go to any of their Municipal or District offices in the region to get themselves enumerated since the theme of this year’s exercise is ‘you count, get counted.
The Eastern Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party under the able Chairmanship of Hon. Kiston Akomeng Kissi wishes to state categorically and unequivocally that the list being circulated on social media purported to be the list of Municipal and District Chief Executives of the Eastern Region is FAKE and must be disregarded.
The said FAKE MDCEs list is believed to be causing apprehension and uneasiness among some party faithfuls in the Region.
In some cases, the said FAKE list has resulted in widespread and spontaneous jubilation among other Party Members in the Region.
The Regional Executives wish to use this opportunity to inform Party Members and the entire people of Eastern Region to disregard the said list on the social media and treat it with the contempt it deserves.
The Regional Party wishes to emphasis that the prerogative to appoint MMDCEs lies squarely at the doorstep of the President of the Republic according to the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana and the Local Governance Act of 2016, Act 936
The Regional Party is therefore, urging all Party Members to remain calm and wait for the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to officially announce the genuine list.
Meanwhile, the Regional Party wish to admonished all Members who are either jubilating or tensed to remain calm and wait for the President to officially announce the list of all MMDCEs
The Regional Party continues to encourage Members join hands to work hard in supporting our President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his Vice H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Mawumia and the entire NPP Government to achieve the mandate given to the Party by the Ghanaian people.

2020 Parliamentary Candidate for Akim Oda constituency in the Eastern Region on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Jones Asante has disclosed to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview that, Ghana’s economy and the educational sector are all on the verge of collapsing due to the bad leadership style of Nana-Bawumia gov’t.
“Looking at how the governance is going on in this country everybody is complaining bitterly about the economy because everything standstill” he noted.
Mr. Jones Asante added that, Ghana’s educational sector under the Prez Akufo-Addo regime is sick because its not necessary for Mr. Prez to buy past questions for the 2020 final SHS students since everyone saw what happened when the WASSCE questions they learnt swerves them.
He continue that, former prez John Dramani Mahama is returning in 2024 to save Ghanaians from this menace everyone knows his track record when it comes to education.
Mr Asante added “If former prez JDM didn’t come in 2024, education in Ghana will get out of hands”
He further stated that things are very tough for NPP gov’t, because they don’t know how to govern the country anymore.
“Automatically is NDC that is ruling Ghana because the speaker of parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin is from their party and moreover they have equal number of MPs in parliament that’s 137-137 plus 1 independent Candidate. This indicate God gave the presidential seat to former prez John Mahama but something went wrong in the 2020 elections”he opined.
In conclusion, Mr. Jones noted that majority of Ghanaians are crying including members of the NPP claiming there is hardship in the country hence ex prez John Mahama will in 2024 come and rescue the country from collapsing.
Alhaji Umar Bodinga, NPP 1st vice chairman-E/R and aspiring MCE for Abuakwa North.
Eastern Regional 1st Vice Chairman for NPP, Alhaji Umar Bodinga has disassociated himself from the leaked audio of NDC’s Abuakwa North Constituency deputy communication officer, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Adams.
In the said leaked audio, Alhaji Wahab Adams thanked Prez Akufo-Addo for appointing Alhaji Umar Bodinga as the new MCE for the Municipality and said he can do the work to bring development to the municipality.
He again said, since this is the first time a northerner has been chosen to became the MCE of the area, the Akyems will serve under him thus the MP for the constituency, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo should come down for Alhaji Bodinga to work in a corporative manner because Prez didn’t appoint her person.
Alhaji Abdul Adams said these when a purported list of eastern regional Municipal and District Chief Executives leaked on Friday, July 23,2021, where Alhaji Umar Bodinga was named as new MCE for Abuakwa North.
With regard to this, Alhaji Umar Bodinga has disclosed to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH that he don’t know anything about the leaked audio and moreover he hasn’t asked Alhaji Abdul Adams to make any statement indicating that “Akyems will come under the northeners for the first time in history of Abuakwa North”
This, Alhaji Bodinga who’s aspiring for Abuakwa North’s MCE post says he disassociates himself from the leaked audios amidst the unsounded statement.
He does stressed that he’s thinking about the developmental projects he will do for the residents within the municipality if God permit and H.E. Prez give the nod to him to come and serve under his gov’t.
“What I learnt from my political godfather Prez Akufo-Addo since 1992 is that; he is not a type of person who believes in nepotism when it comes to governance”. So I won’t also do anything that will bring separation amongst the good of people Abuakwa North if Prez appoint me”
“I have worked with Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo several years and will continue to work with her as my MP if am given the slot. Together with Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo, we will transform Abuakwa North because we are all hardworking persons” he stated.
Alhaji Umar Bodinga emphatically affirmed that, he is in good terms with the MP, revealing that when the late MP of the constituency, Hon. J. B. Danquah was assassinated, he went to Akosombo International School where the then Mrs. Gifty Ampofo work at as a teacher to have a dialogue with her to come and occupy the vacant position of the late MP.
Addition he said, such statement from his brother Alhaji Abdul Wahab Adams is unfortunate, stressing that there is no way the Akyems will come under him, rather would ever be ready to serve the good people of Akyem Abuakwa North including his sister Hon. MP should the nod be given to him.
