He is a native,born and bread at Akyem Begoro.His names as indicated,are George Twenefour,commonly addressed as “Nana Kwaku Attah”He is a Banker,an entrepreneur and Currently the Youth Organizer of the fanteakwa north constituency he also doubled as the head of research for the party.Hon.Twenefour had served the party and its leadership in diverse ways,He was part of the 11 wise men who took the party from opposition in the year 2004. At certain points, his life was threatened but as poised as he was,he moved forward,regardless.In the history of the party, no youth organizer from the fanteakwa north constituency have had the support and massive endorsement from from the grassroots as Kwaku Attah had.His vibrant nature and his commandeering skill makes him unique in all spheres.

He currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and now!pursuing his Master’s degree.He worked with Ghana Atomic Energy Commission as an Account Officer, at a very tender age.He won several honors for his call and response to duty,He is a among the few “sharp brains”who received appointment to serve as prominent members of the Eastern Regional youth wing finance Committee,he was again given an uncontested and an enviable position as a Credit Officer at the prestigious Mumuadu Rural Bank,Kyebi. This was from the year 2015 till date. And for the records it was during his term of office that,the Bank experiences a paradigm shift with regards to loans recoveries and disbursements. It is worth noted that,in 2009-2010. Mr. Twenefour was contacted by the fanteakwa Rural Bank to act as a marketing officer, and indeed he did wonders with the bank. Records does not lie. Earlier 2008-2010,due to his brilliance in diverse fields of work he was appointed as Special Assistance to the MP(Hon Amankwa Asiamah).Upon his massive performance,he was in 2011-2012 appointed again as the campaign Manager for Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum and his records yielded victory for the then Candidate Okyere Agyekum. The newly appointed Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong assumed work today after a short handing over ceremony at the office of the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (ERCC). This follows his nomination by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and subsequent confirmation by Parliament.

In a short statement, Hon Acheampong thanked the President for the trust and confidence reposed in him by appointing him to represent him at the Region. He expressed his deepest appreciation to the former Eastern Regional Minister, Hon Darfour for the warm reception accorded him.

Hon Acheampong gave the assurance that he would continue from where his predecessors have left off. He therefore appealed to the Chief Director of ERCC Mr. Samuel Donkor, the MDCEs, and the entire staff who were present to extend the same cordial working relationship the have offered to his predecessor to him.

In a brief statement, the former Regional Minister, Hon. Eric Kwakye Darfour thanked the Municipal and District Chief Executives, the Regional Security Council ( REGSEC) , Heads of various institutions and Agencies, Nananom, Clergy, the Media and the staff for their support and cooperation during his four year tenure as the head of the Region. He also called on all stakeholders to extend the same or even better cooperation to the new Minister who he described as his friend and younger brother.

The Dean of Municipal and District Chief Executives, Hon Richmond Amponsah, speaking on behalf of his colleague thanked the former Regional Minister for the cordial working relationship and the fatherly love shown during his four year stay. He was therefore optimistic that the Honourable Acheampong would do even better.

The renowned sports presenter who doubles as the head of sports and host of Accra based Kingdom FM married Victoria Naana Nartey in a classy ceremony with family and friends at the Bedtime hotel, Koforidua.

The white wedding of Mr. Jones Kwame Ofosu and Mrs. Victoria Naana Ofosu follows their traditional wedding (engagement ceremony) which was held on friday, a day before the initial event took place.

However, the two love birds have been dating for a while and decided to take the relationship to eternity by customarily sealing it with exchange of vows and wedding rings.

The elegant and fashionable marriage ceremony, saw business mogul who doubles as CEO and owner of Unique Kingdom Communications Group Ltd, Mr. Jonathan Kwame Amofa and other top personalities in attendance.

A joint simulation exercise was held by personnel from the Ghana Police Service; Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service and the National Ambulance Service to demonstrate skills attained in preventing violence extremism and terrorism, to the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for Armed Forces Mr. James Heappey (MP), at the Police Headquarters, Accra.

Mr. Heapey who is on a visit to Ghana, was accompanied by the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker and the Defense Advisor Alastair Mckechnie to see how effectively the Police-led inter agency team is using the UK sponsored mobile training equipment, blank armour and simulation improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The Minister expressed excitement in the existing partnership between UK and Ghana. He also said he could see how trainings arranged between the two countries on countering terrorism and extremism has equipped the personnel and would help security in general. “No matter how the plan is, it depends on how you execute it on the ground”, he added.

The visiting team were received by a team of Ghanaian Officers from the various agencies, led by COP Mr. George Alex Mensah, Director-General Services who represented the Inspector-General of Police on the occasion. COP Mensah expressed gratitude to the UK for the support in the security sector throughout the years.

The simulation exercise was under the supervision of Chief Superintendent Mr. Adofiem Raymond Wejong, Commanding Officer, Counter Terrorism Unit of the Ghana Police Service.

The National Youth Organizer of National Democratic Party (NDP), Mr. Gideon Amoasi Ampah has urged Ghanaians to accept the coronavirus vaccine and partake in the exercise.

He said, the vaccine is safe and he is ready to be vaccinated if the covid-19 team come to Koforidua.

Mr. Ampah cited, countries like; Israel, South Africa, UK and USA quizzing that their citizens have taken the vaccination but nothing happens to them and what shows that if the Blacks takes the jab something would happened.

“That’s why when the vaccine arrived in Ghana, the first and second gentlemen of the land together with their spouse takes the vaccination injection first to set an example for Ghanaians that there is no toxic in the vaccine and is very safe to boost our immune system” he noted.

Mr. Amoasi Ampah encouraged the general populace to take part in the vaccination injection when the Covid-19 team gets to their Metropolis, Municipal, and Districts Assemblies.

He further stated, former Prez John Manama is statesman and he can’t say he won’t take the vaccine.

“Because this vaccine is not different from the one many people took when the polio, ebola and measles hit the world. I will be surprised if the former Prez John Manama should have rejected the vaccine, then I will say he don’t want Ghana’s development” he said.

Mr. Gideon Ampah speaking to Kingdom’s FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview said he is expecting former Prez Mahama to tell his NDC supporters who said the vaccine is not safe to go for theirs for their own good.

The 1st Vice Chairman for NPP in the Eastern Region, Alhaji Umar Bodinga is of the view that, the General Secretary for NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah caused the downfall of their own petition sent to Ghana’s Supreme Court.

According to him, the first day the SC begun hearing on the case of the 2020 elections petition by the NDC, Mr. Asiedua Nketiah who was the 1st witness to testify, could not lead up to the billing, hence, spoilt everything during the cross examination by the 1st and 2nd respondent lawyers.

“The answers Mr. Johnson Nketiah gave to the 1st and 2nd despondent lawyers especially the calculations part of the result during the cross examination made their own case dead on arrival” he noted.

Alhaji Bodinga added, he is not surprised the Supreme Court after hearing the case quashed it and ruled in favour of NPP.

Speaking to Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview, stated that, these elections 2020 petition hearing is the 3rd time a party has taken an elections result to court for justification from the Supreme Court of the Land.

“Mr. Robert Joseph Mettle Nunoo and late Mr. Kingsley Owu, the leading members of NDC took Ex- Prez John Agyekum Kufuor to court in his 2nd term in 2004 when Ghanaians convincingly voted him to continue his good works”

“So this is not the 2nd time an elections have been taken to court for further clarification by the political parties in Ghana but rather is the 3rd time. The 1st one was in 2004, the 2nd one was in 2012, and the last one is 2020” revealed Alhaji Umar Bodinga.

He further hinted that it is NPP’s hope in 2024 seeing NDC choose Mr. John Dramani Mahama as Flagbearer to lead them again. This, he said is where Ghanaians will teach them a lesson.

Again, Mr. Alhaji Bodinga chastised that instead of Mr. Mahama accepting the outcome of the petition in good faith to call and congratulate Prez. Akufo-Addo, he rather incited some Ghanaians against the judges in his press statement which is very worrying.

“Mr. Dramani Mahama should have said it in his press statement that, for the interest of Ghanaians I have accept the Supreme Court verdict in a good faith like what Nana Addo did in 2012” he opined.

However, he indicated, it looks like Mr. John Mahama thinks about his own personal interest more than that of the Ghanaians who are still feeding him through their tax. Stressing that NPP will be glad if NDC bring him[Mahama] again to contest the 2024 general elections because massive defeat is await him.

The Kukurantumi Community College of Health in the Abuakwa North Municipality of Eastern Region has held its 2nd matriculation for over 20 students who are willing to join the health profession.

The Medical Officer of Community Hospital- Kukurantumi, Dr. Charles Owusuhene Debrah said, over 60 students applied but after their scout they picked only 20 students to teach them for now.

He stated, working on human being at the hospital is so difficult and every patients who have come to the hospital to seek for medication don’t exercise patience because he or she may be suffering at that moment.

Dr. Owusuhene Debrah added, as they have taken steps to join the health profession, I will urge them to exercise restraint for the patients.

“Most at times I got peeved if I hear patients are calling nurses for support and they refused to attend to them” he noted.

Dr. Charles Debrah adds, as a nurse no matter how troublesome patients may be, they must see them as their own mother, father, brother, sister and etc and attend to them when it matters most since they’re there due to sickness.

He told Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview stating that, they will plead with the gov’t to provide them with some PPE’s because patients always come to the hospital with different diseases.

He further stated, the Ghana gov’t is doing well but we pray the Ghana gov’t established more hospitals to post nurses who have stayed home for long to help save lives.

“Already the Doctors are very few than the nurses and if we have a limited number of nurses at our various hospitals, clinics and etc it makes our job so difficult” he said.

Dr. Debrah added, as a result of few Doctors and Nurses the nature of the job requires multiple work that’s why sometimes you could see nurses getting angry at patients. But expressed their unhappiness about it.

He therefore advised the newly students to be courageous in their decision they have taken to serve humanity. Alerting that choosing to be a nurse is a big task.

Later on some of the students spoke to Kingdom News and said, they are ready to serve the country.

“They added that, nursing job is a sacrificial job and is not everybody who are willing to go into it but as for us we are to save people’s live”

The Abuakwa North Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region, Mr. Douglas Asare has called on Ghana gov’t and the Ministry of Education to ensure they strengthened the monetization of students from SHS to the tertiary level.

According to him, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) begins from the second cycle level of education in the country.

“If the gov’t, education ministry, headteachers, house mistress and masters monitors the moves of the students in the various campuses very well especially the SHS students it will help safe the children from going into such animalistic act”

He argued, the SHS 3 female students start doing the ‘supi supi’ with the SHS 1 students and vice versa to the male students thus making them addicted to it which is very disturbing.

However Mr. Asare recalled broken homes as a constant cause that lead students into LGBT, hence, noting that when they start practicing the act from SHS level, they possesses no fear in proceeding into the uncalled-for behavior anymore when they get to various tertiary institutions.

Speaking with Kingdom FM’s KONTIHEN KOFI OBOH in an interview, Mr. Douglas stated that irrespective of how poorly the country is, no amount of money from the European countries can influence Ghana to legalise the abomination LGBTQI.

Again, he noted that he’s of the hope that should the gov’t of Ghana, Ministry of Education, and the Ghana Education Service vividly monitor the steps of students very closely especially those in boarding houses, the practices of LGBT could reduced drastically in the country.

Mr. Douglas Asare stated further that he can’t fathom the idea of men getting married to their colleagues and vice versa to women since they can’t have sexual intercourse and give birth.

This, he quizzed firing that had parents of persons practicing LGBT engaged in such animalistic act, they wouldn’t have been born to practice this stupid things.

He said nobody is trampling on their right, but there is law in Ghana that frawns against the LGBT which isn’t going to allow them to destroy the laws, custom and tradition protected by the forefathers of the land.

“Many women are out there looking for a man to be married of which they are not getting some and moreover women are more than the men in Ghana. We won’t tolerate them at all”

“If I have the power and not the Christian religion that binds the Christians from marrying only one woman. I would say each man should married 4 wifes like what our Muslims brothers are doing to stop this act” he chastised as opined.
