” Skirt And Blouse ” Voting Pattern: Development Killer…. MP To Constituents

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency who doubles as the deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical And Vocational Education And Training (TVET), Hon Gifty Twum-Ampofo, has admonished all illegible voters to cast their votes in favour of H.E the president, Nana Akufo-Addo and all parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to continue the unprecedented development in the country.

Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo

She said, election research has recently shown that, whilst the presidential votes in previously held elections appreciate the member of parliament’s votes decrease, a situation peculiar to most constituencies of which Abuakwa North is no exception.

Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo sited, the bitterness after parliamentary primaries as one of the key factors that compels voters to cast their ballots for the president and either decide not to vote for their parliamentary candidate representing NPP or cast their ballots for the opposing candidates, a situation she describes as “development killer”.

The Hon Member of Parliament explained that, the president needs majority in parliament to enable him have all his developmental and flagship bills passed into laws for the socio-economic development of the country.

Hon. Gifty Twum stressed, it would have been difficult for the government to access the recent World Bank COVID 19 interest free loan that Ghanaians are enjoying i.e free water, 50% cut on electrity tarriff etc. if the majority in parliament were not NPP. She said, they (MPs of NPP) were vehemently opposed by the NDC not to pass the bill to access the loan facility but due to their huge numbers present in parliament, the votes favoured the passage of the bill.

“Due to this and other reasons, all voters must burry all parliamentary primaries hatchets and vote for anyone that represents the elephant (NPP) to make decision making and execution of developmental projects less cumbersome for government for a better Ghana” she continue

Some of the constituents

Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo made this disclosure when she toured electoral areas in the Abuakwa North enclave to recount developmental projects that the Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP administration has done so far and what they intend doing when voted into power again come 7th December, 2020.

Managing Your Anger, The Best Way To See God’s Blessings…..Apostle E. A. Tettey

Apostle Elisha Adjin-Tettey in an advice to world wide Christians said “God blessings comes in disguise” yet Christians are to help control their anger.

Apostle Elisha Adjin-Tettey

“We need not to understand God in how He does His works because He is God” he said.

“God works can’t be understood by man and He can’t be quentioned as in why and how He does his work”

Throwing more light into this, he pleased to all Christians to accept all words but help to manage the root ones out.

Based on the Scriptures, Provibes 29:22 and Eph 4:26-27 advice all Christians to do away all anger for it is only “foolish people” who never made chances out of this quote from the Bible.

Moses never step foot to the promise land due to anger after God asked him to hit his rod to the mountain for the flow of water.

Beside Moses also pleaded to God to control his temper on the Israelites for the Egyptians might consider him as wicked.

He advice Christians to take this as key to their marriages, work, friendships etc for a sustainable and reflection on our daily lives as Christians.

In conclusion, he used the just happened in the United State of America, Pastor Sylvester, who recently shot his wife to death because he (pastor Sylverster) couldn’t control his anger.
