UCIA is an International Association with offices across the globe which serves as a fellowship and network of servant leaders with the primary aim of training, empowering and honouring leaders.
The Association on yearly basis nominates individuals with excellence in leadership to honour them with different categories of awards.

UCIA held its 11th edition of the awards at All Nations University on August 8, 2020. Notable among the persons nominated for the awards were Hon John Osei Frimpong, (MP for Abirem constituency), Hon Gifty Twum Ampofo, MP for Abuakwa North and a Deputy Minister for Education, Hon Andy Appiah – Kubi, MP for Asante Akyem North and a Deputy Minister for Railways Development. The others include the MMDCEs for Okere, Asuogyaman and Lower Manya Krobo District.
The climax of the event was when the indefatigable MP, Hon John Osei Frimpong was named for the UCIA 2020 Hall of Fame Award for his Excellence in Leadership.
The selection process of nominees include an independent survey of the performance of the nominees in the constituency, Parliament and private life. This award goes to leaders who serve with integrity, selflessness, honesty and commitment to duty.

The atmosphere was charged with applauds when the profile of the Noble MP was read. The achievements of the awardees were worthy to emulate.
Hon John Osei Frimpong receiving the covetous award expressed gratitude to the organizers for noticing his efforts for the honour.
The MP dedicated the award to God and the New Patriotic Party (NPP Abirem Constituency) led by Chairman Patrick Bannor.

The entourage included the MP’s Research Assistant who doubles as the Presiding Member for Birim North District, Hon George Krobea Asante.
He assured the organisers of his resolve to continue to work more harder to improve on his performance and service to the Nation particularly to the good of Abirem Constituency.
